An elegant George II carved mahogany armchair, the cartouche-shaped back pierced with elaborate interlaced strap-work, scrolls and acanthus decoration, the scrolling top rail finished with billowing drapery, standing on carved cabriole legs with French scroll feet; the seat now upholstered in fine 18th century period needlework.
