DESCRIPTION:  A large standing lantern mounted on stand in bronze and glass made by Pietro Chiesa for Fontana Arte, Italy, circa 1938. The lantern with removable top features a flaired case with bronze criss-cross diamond over glass.

The lamp is in perfect original condition, the finish has been untouched.

PROVENANCE:  This piece came from the Sotheby's Sale of Gordon Watson, May 2006.
