DESCRIPTION:  Kent state was issued in an edition of 5000 copies and printed by Dietz Offizia, Lengmoos, Bavaria on Schoeller Durex paper.

The image depicts a fallen student from Kent State University during a confrontation with the National Guard during a demonstration against the Vietnam War in May 1970. Hamilton took his basic image from a photograph of a television news film which he then modified by a complex series of multiple screen printing processes.
