Fragments of images were placed in a special kaleidoscope which were then photographed. This painting was based on one of those images. The use of the kaleidoscope symbolizes the Buddhist concept of Impermanence. The theme of this work follows earlier practices, concerning the deterioration of Tibetan Buddhism and the alienation of human kind, with the artist wanting to stress the dim future which is beyond people's control.
