M.F. Husain is showcasing his Mother Teresa Series. There is a complete set of 18 hand – finished, signed prints, inspired by the legendary life and legacy of this extraordinary woman. This series of semi-abstracted works measuring over six foot high is being unveiled for the first time in London, and is available in a limited edition of 100. The collection can be bought as a complete set for £95,000 framed, or £75,000 unframed. Alternatively, they sell for £7,500 each. M.F. Husain is one of the world’s leading artists at 94. He is still very much the most sought after Indian contemporary painter The Picasso of our day. We will be holding a private Gala viewing for M.F. Husain and his Mother Teresa Series in December, 2010. It will be a gathering of some of the world’s most important Indian art collector’s and the event will also celebrate the anniversary of M.F. Husain’s dear friend, Mother Teresa, an Icon and a Saint.
