Printed before 1947, when it was exhibited at New York's Museum of Modern Art. Ferrotyped, with a typed caption, 'Photographs by Henri-Cartier Bresson' stamp, Museum of Modern Art stamp, photographer's reproduction rights stamp and annotated 'is E33E' in unidentified hand on verso. One of the earliest existing prints of this image in private hands. This identical image was recently on display at NY MoMA.
