Luca Sacchetti was born in Rome in 1962, where he lived until 1985, the year in which,
after completing his classical studies and obtaining a degree in Economics, he moved first
to Paris and later to Fontainebleau where he received a Masterʼs Degree in Business
Administration at INSEAD. In 1998, after moving to Milan, Luca became a senior
communications and art director first for fashion companies (Genny and Simint) and then
for his own communication company “Star Factory” which he opened in 1993 and followed
until 2004.
During this period he was directly involved in numerous advertising campaigns, fashion
shows and productions for clients including Kenzo, Etro, Camper, Mtv, Spalding &Bross,
Energie, Telecom and Evian. Between 1993 and 2002, he also lectured on Communication
Management at “Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore” in Milan, publishing his first book, “I
Beni di Prestigio: Marketing e Comunicazione”. In 2003, following his childhood passion for
architecture, art and design, he took the decision to change roles and become a designer:
in 2004 he presented his first art design collection, “Dreams collection” in Milan, which was
later exhibited in Paris, London and San Francisco. In 2005 he presented his second
collection “Eiffel” and in 2007 the first two pieces (“The Forest of Thorns” and “El Dios del
Amor”) from a serie entitled “The Fairy tale of Life”.
