Initially, he photographed people and landscapes in many countries of Europe and in the U.S., Africa and India. However, photography was not to remain his only field of artistic activity. In 1973 Labuda began to make multicoloured serigraphs after his monochrome photographic originals. In the same year he set up his first screen printing workshop in Murnau, Germany. From then on, for a total of 26 years until now, he has issued a graphic print at year’s end.
