Warren Isensee (American, b.1956) is a Geometric Abstractionist who employs a precision, free-hand technique that leaves little to no trace of human interference. Born in Asheville, NC in 1956, the artist currently lives and works in New York. Isensee has received numerous awards and grants, including the American Academy of Arts and Letters, Art Purchase Program (2007) and the Joan Mitchell Foundation Grant (1999). Isensee is represented by Danese Corey in New York, and his work is included in the Blanton Museum in Austin, TX and the Neuberger Museum of Art in Purchase, NY.
