At the age of 16, executed an etching of his father Eugene Duchamp, "Portrait de Mon Pere"

Studied at L’Ecole des Beaux-Arts

Became involved in the Cubist movement
1912
Contributed to a project for a 'Cubist house' shown at the Salon d'Automne
1914
First one-man exhibition at the Galerie Andr-23 Groult, Paris
1914
Enlisted as an auxiliary doctor and contracted typhoid in 1916. Spent last two years as an invalid.
1918
Died in Cannes
1950
First prize at the Carnegie Institute in Pittsburgh
