QUIK (Lin Felton) (American, )

Growing up in Queens, NY, Lin Felton a.k.a. QUIK (American, b.1958) started tagging around his neighborhood during the 1970s. By the 1980s, he was one of the few New York Graffiti artists being shown in numerous art galleries and museums. Throughout his career, QUIK's artistic style has matured to include ironic commentaries on social, political, and personal topics, while still maintaining his personality and the spirit of Graffiti Art. QUIK has exhibited widely throughout the United States and abroad, with recent solo shows at Green Flowers Art Gallery in Boulogne-Billancourt, France; AAA Gallery in Rotterdam, the Netherlands; Avenir Finance in Paris, France; and Galerie Arte Ventuno in Brussels, Belgium.
