Paul Lucien Maze Biography
  London painter of military subjects, portraits and landscapes. His family were friends of Monet, Manet and Pissaro, he was mentor to Sir Winston Churchill and a personal friend of Vuillard and Segonazh. He visited Canada and painted extensively in the South of France, where he had a villa. He held solo exhibitions in London and France andhis 1952 exhibition was held at Wildensteins Bond Street Gallery. He also exhibited at the major London venues and his work was in many major collections, including the Getty.
