Mahmut Karatoprak Biography

|
Mahmut Karatoprak graduated from the State Academy of Fine Arts. He worked as a graphic designer and caricaturist in different newspapers especially in Hurriyet, Milliyet and different magazines during the same years. He received awards during his education years from different competitions in Turkey and abroad. Three of his works were accepted by Basel Caricaturists Museum. He did graphic design in various publications in Germany between 1978-79 and illustrations, painting and research work. In 1983 he started his work in Frankfurter Kunstler Verein and participated in collected exhibitions for 16 years. In 1985 Dreieich – Hörzu works and others for Berlin Axel Springer Verlag AG. Continuous paint works until 1997. Karatoprak is proceeding with his work in Istanbul and Kayseri.
