1959   Worked as a journalist, interviewing key political figures such as Fidel Castro and Che Guevara. Imprisoned in Nicaragua for his political beliefs, which involved fighting against Somoza’s dictatorship.
1947 - 1963   Explored Latin America, immersing himself in the cultures of Argentina, Peru, Ecuador, Columbia, and Costa Rica
1963   Returned to Italy, with a series of successful exhibitions throughout Italy, Germany, France, and England to follow.
