1975   PhD in Physics, University of Maryland, U.S.A.
1979   Received a Ten Outstanding Young Persons in Hong Kong Award
1981   Received the Hong Kong Urban Council Award, Painting category-Chinese media
1984   Won the Gold Award at the International Art Competition in Los Angeles
1995   First Chinese to be included in Who's Who in Graphic Design of Switzerland
1999   Conferred the Honour of Bronze Bauhinia Star by the Hong Kong Government
2002   Invited by the China Central Television for a feature story
2010   Conferred the Honour of Silver Bauhinia Star by the Hong Kong Government
