Judith Supine  (American) 

Judith Supine (American) is a Brooklyn-based Street artist known for his intricate works created through the use of pastiche and collage. Growing up, Supine was unable to speak; it was not until he turned 17 that he was able to communicate verbally. This limitation prompted him to use art as an alternative mode of communication. To preserve his anonymity, he uses his mother’s name as an alias. Supine’s works on the street and in the studio evince surrealistic motifs, often involving distorted faces and bodies stained with psychedelic colors. He often uses found materials and cuttings from magazines and books to create his distinctive pieces. Supine has had solo shows at New Image Art Gallery in Los Angeles (2011) and the Jonathan LeVine Gallery in New York (2012). He lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
