1889
Born in Krefeld/Germany as Mathias Heinrich Ernst Campendonk.
1908
First studio in Krefeld/Germany which he shares with August Macke.
1911
August Macke shows works of Campendonk to Wassily Kandinsky in Munich.
1911
First contact to art-dealer Alfred Flechtheim.
1917
Teaches at the "Sturm"-Galerie in Berlin/Germany.
1935
Moves to Amsterdam/Netherland where he dies in 1957.
