1903 - 1910   Studied briefly with Rodin at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, for two years with Euchtriz in Berlin, and at the Art Students League of New York
1910   Began to receive commissions for the Gorham Manufacturing Co. and the New York County Medical Society
1925   Elected an Associate Member of the National Academy of Design
1917 - 1945   Joined a group of female artists called ‘The Philadelphia Ten.’ to promote opportunities for women who were having a difficult time exhibiting their work in a male-dominated society
1980   Died: Waterbury, CT
2001   Small Bronzes by Harriet Whitney Frishmuth (1880-1980), Kennedy Museum of Art, Athens, OH
