1958   Graduated from City College
1958   Became an apprentice to Francesco Scavullo
1975   Teri Shields signed a contract to allow Gross to photograph Brooke Shields nude for Playboy Press
1981   Won his court case against Brooke Shields, who had sued him for selling the pictures of her as a nude 10 year old
2009   The Tate Modern museum removes one of Gross’s Brooke Shields images in fear that it broke obscenity laws
2010   Died: in New York, NY on November 30th
1985   The Woman in the Child, Limelight, New York, NY
