1924   Born in Buffalo, NY
1937   Attended Art Institute of Buffalo
1940s   Attended University of New Mexico
1940s   Helene Wurlitzer became his patron and he recieved a grant from the Helena V.B. Wurlitzer Foundation
1940s   Went to Paris for a year to study the techniques of etching at the Atelier Friedlander
1947   Moved permanently to Taos, New Mexico where he remained for the rest of his career
1970s   Invited to make lithographs at the Tamarind Institute in Albuquerque, NM; one of the most pretigious lithograph workshops in the country.
2004   His acclaimed Taos Makimono Suite of lithographs is the subject of an exhibition at Harwood Museum of Fine Art
2005   Died in Taos, New Mexico
c.1937   Studied with Edwin Dickinson at Art Students League New York, NY
c.1947   Studied with Andrew Dasburg and Tom Benrimo.
