1878   Established by Jean Daum (1825-1885)
1885   Ran by Jean Daum's sons, Auguste and Antonin Daum
1909   Auguste Daum's son, Paul Daum, takes over the running of the factory
1906 - 1914   Pate de verre studio ran by Amalric Walter. After WWI the studio becomes a separate entity
1920   Lighting becomes a major part of the production
1925   Michel Daum (b. 1910), Antonin Daum's son, joins the firm. He becomes artistic director and chief designer after WWII
1962   The factory becomes a public company and changes its name to Cristallerie Daum
1965   Daum begins again to experiment with pate de verre
  Frequent collaboration with Louis Majorelle
