  'In ponds 2002 the work drew a lot from my memories, in distant 2003 I have gone further into my imagination, creating never seen ponds from far away lands, and ponds taken from my fantasies. In weaving these veils of ponds into my recent work, I find myself going deeper, expanding and documenting more my personal ponds within...'

For his richly textured results Tolman utilizes a water drip process and translucent metallic. He then washes off the drip on both directions and by adding multiple layers of color creating a sense of movement and a luminous effect in his work.

Bruce Tolman has emerged as a powerful, energetic presence in the fast growing Miami art scene. He was recently chosen to exhibit in the juried Miami Art Exchange Exhibition.
