1962 - 1969   Educated at The Lycée d'Apt in Provence
1973   Masters Degree of Philosophy, Sorbonne, Paris, France
1989   Faucon received the Grand Prix National
1991   Faucon is awarded the Prix Leonard de Vinci
1995   Faucon retires from photography
2002   Moscow House of Photography holds a Bernard Faucon Festival
Faucon is invited to officially open the Moscow Biennale
1997 - 2005   Bernard Faucon led a unique participatory art project for children from 25 different counties titled “Le Plus Beau Jour de ma Jeunesse,” or “The Happiest Day of my Youth.”
2006   The first complete Retrospective of Bernard Faucon’s work was held at the Maison Européenne de la Photographie in Paris, France.
