1974 - 1976   Studies at the Technical University for Photography (MTS) in The Hague
1979   Moves to London because of the post punk: Joy Division, Magazine, PIL Ltd.
1979   Works for international magazines: Rolling Stone, Elle, W, Stern etc.
1983   First music videos
1979 - 1985   Works as photographer for the „New Musical Express“
