After schooling at Ampleforth College, Yorkshire, he went on to complete a degree in Archaeology, Anthropology and History of Art at Trinity College, Cambridge
|
|
1974 |
|
Returned to London after travelling to India and Sri Lanka to study Buddhism for three years
|
|
1977 - 1979 |
|
Attended Central School of Art and Goldsmith's College before completing a postgraduate course in sculpture at Slade School of Art
|
|
1994 |
|
Awarded the Turner Prize

Awarded the South Bank Prize for Visual Art
