Matthias Müller is a filmmaker, video artist, photographer and independent curator living and working in Bielefeld, Germany. Müller has been included in major exhibitions, including 'documenta X' and 'manifesta 3', as well as major film festivals worldwide, such as Cannes, Venice, Berlin and Rotterdam. In 1994 the Museum of Modern Art, New York, dedicated a cinematic retrospective to him. Müller's films and videos are in major collections, both private and public, including the Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris and the Museu d'Art Contemporani, Barcelona.
