DESCRIPTION:  A rare welded and polychrome rectangular steel shadow box sculpture by Paul Evans, circa late 1960's. The form is divided into rectangular sections of varying sizes, each of which contains cut out circles or applied knobs in multiple layers, lending a "shadowbox" effect. Circular openings reveal long tendrils of steel and other geometric forms within the body of the sculpture. A palette of warm browns and oranges covers the steel surface.

Excellent original condition.
