DESCRIPTION:
|
Rare sideboard/credenza with two doors, three shelves on each side, and inside the doors are two drawers on top and two shelf levels below. A refinisher specialized in Antiques will tell you that the architecture of this sideboard is unique and intelligent, and this model, as simple as it appears, confirms that Ruhlmann was a precursor in his nitch. This sideboard is not only a piece of furniture but an architectural creation. We are in front of a true proof of talent: apart from the base and the back nothing is screwed on and no screws exist inside. The architecture itself has maintained well with the utmost in sturdiness.
