From the series "Christ and the Apostles." Monogrammed in plate lower left. Recto bears collector's mark in black of Kupferstich Kabinett (Lugt 1647), this is the mark of the Dresden Cabinet of Stamps from the 18th century; verso bears the collector mark "Doublette" (Lugt 685), which indicates early duplicate prints from the Dresden collection; and with two other unidentified collector's marks verso.
