DESCRIPTION:
|
This print shows Maurice Guibert (1856-1913), a champagne representative, amateur painter, photographer and the man who knows most about all the floosies in Paris' (Fin de Siecle, 7 July 1895). For Lautrec he was also an indispensable guide to the maisons closes. Here we see him eyeing up a very bony beauty in the Moulin Rouge who was known as La Tige (the Stalk).
