November 8, 2012 New York / Berlin, November 8, 2012—artnet Auctions is pleased to offer Ciclo 1961 B-2, a rarely available, large-scale painting by Emilio Vedova (Italian, 1919–2006), who is considered to be one of the most important painters to emerge from Italy's artistic scene after World War II. This work is a prime example of Vedova's sought-after Ciclo series, which the artist developed from the 1950s to the 1980s. Estimated at US$600,000 to 800,000, Vedova's Ciclo 1961 B-2 is an exemplary, vibrant abstraction that is among the very best examples to become available at auction. The work will be live on artnet Auctions from November 8 to 20, 2012.

All of the offered works, including several unique prints, come directly from the personal collection of John Goff, Fairey's printer and collaborator since 1997. All of the prints included in the sale are signed by Fairey himself. This collection spans some of the most important years of the artist's career.
