  Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities:
The Senior Project Manager will develop and manage cross-departmental project teams. This person will work collaboratively with business owners/stakeholders and write business requirements and project proposals. The Senior Project Manager is also required to develop and manage project plans; delivery dates for projects and perform risk assessment analysis. It is also the Senior Project Manager responsibilities to ensure that the program scope and measurable success criteria have been defined. This person will manage and execute budgets for projects, liaison with technical/development staff to manage deliverables for the program and ensure consistent project management processes are followed.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Ability to both manage a project team and be a strong individual contributor directly involved in the hands-on work necessary to achieve the deliverables

Senior SQL DBA

Position Description:
This position will design, implement and maintain complex databases to ensure accurate and effective use of data including database definition, structure, documentation, long-range requirements and operational guidelines. The SQL DBA/Developer is a combination role participating in managing database servers. Great knowledge of Replication and T-SQL is also required and an appreciation of .NET, C# and Visual Studio 2005 would also be a nice to have. This position is part of a fast-track experience in a high visibility position with regular exposure to internal decision makers and outside customers and executives.

Project Description:
artnet Worldwide is currently working on a restructuring of the existing database schemas, replication policies, and all SQL code in 1200 stored procedures as well as review of the indexing on the physical SQL tables that exist. A full overhaul will be done on the database system.

Skills Required:
  • Create SSIS packages to migrate existing data into new data structures
  • Responsible for the optimization, stability, scalability, security and general performance of our Microsoft SQL Server Production environments
  • Design and develop normalized relational database models and dimensional data models
  • Analyze project information requirements, data relationships attributes, determine data flows, program structures, hardware needs and outputs for projects
  • Design, build standard reports and the framework for custom reports utilizing Microsoft tools: SQL Server and Reporting Services
  • Design, develop and modify SQL Server 2005 Analysis services cubes
  • Develop T-SQL stored procedures, user defined functions and data access methods
  • Conduct SQL Server Database/data access layer tuning, performance analysis, SQL Server Index analysis and fine tuning
  • Perform database development activities such as coding stored procedures, triggers and operating system scripts
  • Perform database administration activities such as performance monitoring, performance tuning, capacity planning and query optimization, script data extraction transformation and load (ETL)
  • Assist in the configuration of database server hardware to optimize performance

Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities:
The ASP.NET developer will plan, design and implement web applications in C#, ASP.NET and asp 3.0 (active server pages). The ASP.Net Developer will also design and develop the SQL Server database components including schema, performance tuning, data access methods and stored procedures. This person will create, enhance and support requirements for the web application. This person must work well in an agile environment with agile processes .This person will also design database schemas, business rules and access methods for SQL Server alongside building, deploying and maintaining web application and services. This ASP.Net Developer will also be responsible in tuning the performance of web application and database while following the best practices to ensure stability and safety of data and application.

Qualifications and Required Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years developing multi-tier web applications

  • Minimum of 4 years developing ASP.NET and C#
  • Minimum of 4 years developing asp (active server pages) with VBScript or JavaScript
  • Minimum 2 years developing web services

  • Experience with version 2.0 of the .NET framework and ASP.NET
  • Solid understanding of object oriented design methods

Mid Level QA Web Tester

Responsibilities:
The Mid Level QA Web Tester will test all web products and ensure that the delivered software meets the documented requirements. This person will write, revise, verify quality standards and test procedures for program design and product evaluation to attain quality of software economically and efficiently. This position’s responsibility also includes running automation tool to perform both Functional and Regression Testing and identifying differences between establishment standards and user applications while suggesting modifications to conform to standards. This person will also set up test beds, create and benchmark test results while conducting compatibility tests with different OS and Browsers as required. The Mid Level QA Web Tester will also execute test plans, report issues and follow up until the issue is closed while providing support for technical issues and performing root cause analysis.

Qualifications and Required Experience:
  • Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent industry experience
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of total QA experience
  • Minimum of 1 year solid experience on data driven web application
  • Standard knowledge of tools used in the industry
  • Ability to generate innovative approaches and solutions to problems
  • Good internal and external communication skills
  • Ability to produce well-written test documentation
  • Working knowledge of QA processes and best practices
  • Knowledge of issues involving software developed using Microsoft's ASP .NET framework, VB .NET and C#
  • Experience on Microsoft Windows OS and Mac

A perfect opportunity to get involved with the artnet Price Database department at the entry level. The Production Assistant reports to the Director of Production and is responsible for translating and entering auction lot information into the artnet Price Database. The Artist Works Catalogues project is a division of artnet that aims to create the first quality, respected library of artist monographs online. Project sponsors include individual artists/estates, galleries, foundations and scholars. We are looking for an individual with a strong art and photo history background. The Artist Works Catalogues Account Executive will work together with the Director of the project and existing staff to promote the project, create new digital monographs, and edit existing catalogues.

  Market Research Internship

Responsibilities:
This internship is the perfect opportunity to get involved in marketing and the arts community at the entry level. The Market Research Intern reports to the Manager of Client Services and is responsible for researching and contacting galleries in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the United States, entering new gallery data into artnet’s extensive directory, while also simultaneously serving as a liaison between potential leads and our Sales team.

Flexible schedule available, with a 3 to 4 month time commitment required. The internship is unpaid, but we will provide you with a small daily stipend to cover transportation and lunch expenses. Interns may also arrange with their college to receive course credit.
