This is a one of a kind, Major Collection of 42 Paintings of Ellis Island,
done from life at Ellis Island in 1921/1922 by Martha Walter. The
Collection is comprised of 24 paintings of the Detention Rooms and 18
paintings of the Babies' Health Station. Sizes are both 14" x 18" & 16" x
20". All of the works are oil on board. Many of these works were exhibited
at the Art Institute Of Chicago in 1923 & 1941, and at Ellis Island after
the restoration of the facility.
They are only available for purchase as a Collection, through our
