Looking East : Young Artists from China
Prints and Paintings

The Byron C. Cohen Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of our new exhibition, Looking East : Young Artists from China Prints and Paintings, on First Friday, October 2nd from 7 to 9 pm. Show will run through January 1st.

Exhibiting artists include: Liu Hong, Sheng Qi, Yang Qian, Guo Wei, Gao Xioawu and Feng Zhengjie.

Feng Zhengjie, Guo Wei, Yang Qian, Huang Yan, and Sheng Qi are all Chinese Contemporary artists who, as a group, present a diverse and rich mixture of aesthetic style and are at once unified by what has become a powerful and brash heritage as primary artists of a generation that will, for the 21st century and beyond, be looked upon as setting the standard for Chinese (and indeed Asian) artistic direction. The Byron C. Cohen Gallery of Contemporary Art is honored to work with this group of internationally known artists who are producing unusual and highly creative prints and paintings.
