Henry Bermudez, Keiko, Arless Day, Joseph Gerges, William Nichols, Adam Farrington, Roberto Gonzalez, Phoebe Brown, Basil Watson
A group of artists who range widely in media and subject, but who are united in their uniformly high level of execution. Venezuelan mixed-media artist Henry Bermudez brings what has been called a hybrid of surrealism, neoclassicism, and romanticism to his intricate canvases, while Bolivian-born painter Keiko creates bold abstract works. Christina Lihan creates highly detailed architectural scenes from cut paper; Arless Day paints fluid, contemporary interiors utilizing collage elements. Basil Watson’s stylized figurative sculpture complements and contrasts with Joseph Gerges’ realistic drawings and paintings of frozen human moments. The soft-focus landscapes of William Nichols round out the show
