Biography
1887 Attended Warsaw's Gymnasium and High School of Liberal Arts
1899 Briefly attended Warsaw Art Academy
1900 Volunteered for the Imperial Russian Army as an officer candidate.
Taught drawing and flute to officer's children
1901 Returned to Warsaw Art Academy for one year
1904 Arrived in Paris
1905 Exhibited in Salon d'Autonme
1909 First one-man show opened at Galerie Druet, Paris
1911 To London for one-man show at Paterson's Gallery
1914 Took studio in West 14th Street
1915 First exhibition in New York at Stieglitz's Photo-Session Gallery included as plaster version of 'Man in the Open Air'
