Mark Kostabi (born 1961) is one of the seminal artists to emerge from the East Village in the early 1980's. He has had 160 solo exhibitions worldwide and his work is in the permanent collections of The Museum of Modern Art, New York, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum of Art, New York, The Brooklyn Museum of Art, The Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington D.C. and The National Gallery of Art in Rome among others. |
