1920 Founded the Société Anonyme with Katherine Dreier and Man Ray in New York, NY
Invented Rrose Sélavy, his feminine alter ego, in New York, NY
1926 Moved back to Paris, France
1946 Began Etant donnés: 1. la chute d’eau 2. le gaz d’éclairage, a major assemblage on which he worked secretly for the next 20 years
