Biography
1933 Studied English Literature at Tulane University and received her B.A.
1947 Attended the John McCrady Art School
1956 Graduated from Newcomb College and received her M.F.A.
1959 First solo exhibition at the Ruth White Gallery in New York
1956 - 1965 Instructor, Drawing, Painting, New Comb Art School
1966 Commissioned by the Peace Corps to make a painting as a gift for a retired Sergeant Shriver
1973 - 1975 Appointed the Associate Professor of Art at the University of New Orleans
1976 Solo exhibition at David Findlay Galleries in New York
1980 Annual Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Visual Arts, National Women's Caucus for Art
1982 Acclaimed as an honorary life member of National Women's Caucus for Art
1990 Installation of two large public commissions in New Orleans: Aquatic Colonnade
