Biography
1948 Born in Schinnan, the Netherlands
1966 - 1970 Stadsacademie voor Toegepaste Kunsten, Maastricht
1970 - 1975 Teaches at a secondary school in Hoensbroek, The Netherlands.
1976 First solo exhibition (Galerie Felix, Maastricht)
1985 Works and lives in Milan, Italy for several months with a grant of the Dutch Department of Culture. Study on Pittura Metafysica .
1985 - 1990 Teaches at the Stadsacademie voor Beeldende Kunsten in Maastricht
1988 - 1990 Teaches at the Jan van Eyck academie in Maastricht
1991 Works and lives in New York for several months with a grant of the Dutch Department of Culture
1983 - 1994 Rents a second studio in Amsterdam
1990 - 1995 Teaches at the Rijksacademie voor Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam
1995 - 1998 Teaches at the HISK Academy in Antwerp, Belgium
1998 Jeanne Oosting Award
