Studied the process and history of egg tempera. Used primary sources, both original instruction manuals as well as intensive contemplation of egg tempera masters such as Mantegna, Sassetta, Lorenzetti, Fra Angelico and Botticelli. Developed the technique through trial and error over a period of eighteen months. |
