Biography
Painter of coastal scenes. Exhibited mostly at Suffolk Street and also the Royal Academy 1863-1872 and British Institution. Painted harbour and coastal scenes in England, France and Holland. He was the father of Gordon Arthur Meadows, the brother of James Edwin Meadows and the son of James Meadows Senior.
