1930 Born in Antioch
1949 - 1953 Studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Istanbul
1955 Moved to Damascus, Syria where he worked for the Political Administration of the Army as the Artistic Supervisor for its magazine.
1970 - 1979 Director of Fine Arts in the Ministry of Culture
