Biography
The pupil of the Lambeth and R.A schools, and of John O'Connor, Edwards was renowed as a book illustrator, and as a designer of tiles for Lambeth pottery. Also known as Mrs. John Sparkes, her married name, she studied at the Lambeth School of Art, graduating in 1862 and exhibited at the Royal Academy from until 1868
