Biography
1938 Born in Venice, Italy
1950 Begins to paint
1956 Enrolls in the Free Thinking School of Nude Art and obtains his diploma
1960 Travels to the Hague to study Dutch Art; lengthy sojourn in Paris, returns and does an apprenticeship in the studio of Guido Cadorin in Venice
1963 Returns to study architecture under Professor Carlo Scarpa in Venice
1964 Exhibits at the Pavilion of Decorative Arts XXXII Biennial of Contemporary Arts and is given a prestigious award
1967 Received degree cum laude in Architecture under Carlo Scarpa
1968 Leaves his teaching position with the university and becomes interested in abstract art
1970 Begins to move from figurative art towards abstractionism and presents a new cycle of works
1969 - 1974 Shares a teaching position with Mario De Luigi in Set Designing at the Academy of Fine Art
1990 Since this time, the artist has continued to evolve and develop new themes with more formal and symbolic motifs
1974 - 1997 Chairman of Department of Stage Design and collaboration with numerous organizations through which he acquires practical and theoretical experience
