Biography
London historical and genre painter, the grandson of William Bromley the engraver. He specialised in depicting children at play and painted in the style of the Cranbrook Colony and particularly that of Thomas Webster R.A. He exhibited 187 works at the Suffolk Street Galleries, the British Institution and the Royal Academy between 1844 and 1870.
