1933 - 1935 Teaches at the Akademie der Künste in Duesseldorf
1938 Prohibition of exhibition. The exhibition 'Entartete Kunst' in Berlin shows 3 of his early works
1931 - 1943 Exhibits in Cologne, Amsterdam, Wuppertal etc.
1983 Dies in Dangast, Lower Saxony
