Biography
Pino (born Giuseppe Dangelico in Bari, Italy, 1939) completed studies at Bari Art Institute and Milan’s Academy of Brera before immigrating to the United States in 1979.

Exhibiting widely in New York and Massachusetts, Pino attracted the attention of book publishers Bantam, Simon & Schuster, Harlequin, Penguin, Zebra, and Dell. He soon became one of America’s most widely recognized artists, illustrating over 1600 books with a style that both dominated and influenced the market from 1980-1993.

In 1993, Pino turned his full attention to fine art and was quickly acclaimed for his innovative interpretations of life’s simple pleasures. The duplicity of his fresh, spirited brushwork and rich, dense tones of color with carefully articulated pictorial values is what distinguishes Pino’s images today.
