Biography
1955 Born in Washington D.C.
1965 Moved with family to Seattle, WA
1994 Began "Black Hole" for Kitchen Sink
1998 Upon Kitchen Sink's collapse, moved "Black Hole" series to Fantagraphics
Attended Evergreen College where he met such soon-to-be famous cartoonists as Matt Groening and Lynda Barry
Attended graduate school at the University of California, Davis
