Biography
1931 Born in Moscow, where he worked until his death in 1986. He was one of the most prolific and imaginative of the unofficial artists in the USSR. An important contributor to the Russian Expressionist movement of the 1960's, his works are characterized by an agitated technique of emotional abandon.
